Notebooking Pages Birthday Sale-a-bration

Notebooking pages ONE DAY giveaway

It has been a while

The last couple of months have gone by in a blur.  DS is in a co-op writing class where we have 8 boys all aged 11-13 and one girl in the same age range. It makes for quite a lively group.  The one girl is usually pretty quiet, but the boys are anything but. It would be nice if they learned to take turns answering the questions and raised their hands.

DS has been writing quite well, too. He had difficulty with the latest assignment which required him to write from a picture or comic strip with the words removed.  He decided to use Comic Life, a comic writing program, to put in pictures of some of his favorite game heroes and to then write about them. His result was a nearly 3 page product. We are using one of IEW’s writing courses so there are very specific directions for what must be included in each paragraph. He writes his rough draft, I edit it, and then another mom corrects the final product.

We are blessed to have in our homeschool group a mom who is a published author. She has sons around the same age as DS.  Her boys are also in the writing class.

One of the tools I have used over the years for my children’s homeschool writing and projects is Notebooking Pages. I really like the Notebooking Publisher, and I have a lifetime membership to  I have used the pages to create notebooks and workbooks as well as to have my son use a template and type in his report right into the form. He can then just print it out. He can make a really nice looking document.

They have Black Friday specials coming up at Notebooking Pages. I highly recommend checking it out.

I have been using this new tool to create notebooks and workbooks for the upcoming school year.  I will also be using it to have my son type out answers to different questions and to create vocabulary notebooks this year.
